Founded in 2018, the Quietside Chamber Music Festival is a series of chamber music concerts taking place from July to September. Located on the “quiet side” of Maine’s picturesque Mount Desert Island, the festival is rooted in community. Experience the richness of local art set in an intimate, historic church.

Now in its fifth season, the Quietside Chamber Music Festival showcases the talent of professional musicians who call Maine home. Founded by pianist and Islesford native Christina Spurling, this festival seeks to highlight and amplify the voices of Maine-based musicians to build community and recognize, through the arts, our shared humanity.
